Clients always worry when we are having overcast days in Austin. I get so many emails, texts and calls asking if we should postpone sessions because there isn’t a bright shining sun. So I’m going to tell you an industry secret…

Cloudy days are the BEST!

I love cloudy days. I often take my kids out to take theirs photos if it’s a cloudy day and avoid sunny days. The lighting is beautiful. It’s soft and you don’t have to worry about shadows on your face. Cloudy days open up tons of location possibilities because you don’t have to worry about finding shade. There are a couple downside like you can’t get that gorgeous sunset photo but I promise your gallery will be so beautiful that you won’t miss it.

Baby Ollie's Maternity & Newborn Session

I love getting to work with families through multiple sessions. Its so exciting to watch the excitement as their family and little ones grow. I worked with this sweet family a few months back. My Baby Girl is 5 Months Old

I can't believe how fast the last few months have gone by. I'm so excited about the new name for my business. Three Little Bears symbolizes my own children. My smallest bear is my baby girl. I recently did these milestone photos of her to document her growth. She's not big on smiling at the camera but she is still very cute!

Downtown Austin Maternity Session

I shot this amazing maternity session recently in downtown Austin. Our session was at Auditorium Shores and on South Congress and it was the perfect mix of nature and urban settings for this couple. M & R were so sweet throughout our time working together. Plus I love M's awesome purple hair! I love their personalities and spark with each other and I know they will make wonderful parents to their baby girl.
